Diamond Driller Demo Game Manual
Dig out all the diamonds. Starting from your drill bases you dig through the earth using up your drills. But be careful - drills are limited so you have to plan the excavation well.
Diamond Driller is a easy casual puzzle game for young and old players who value short play times per level and easy to medium difficulty. This is the free demonstration version of the game, if you like it look for more content in the pay version, available in the Google Play Store (as separate app).
App Navigation
IMPORTANT: The first time you start the app you have to agree to the terms and policies presented in the info screen to be able to play the game. You do this by checking the box under this text window, and the button underneath will change from 'Quit' to 'Play'. Next time when you start the app this step will be skipped and the button will read "Play" from the beginning. You still can come back to the info screen to review all documents and this manual any time you like.
Certain documents can also be viewed in german language, these are: user licence, privacy policy, legal notice and about this app. The button text to view the document will change to show other language is available. This is to conform to german regulations, but the primary app language is english and the app is intended for international distribution and use.
The Game has three screens, which you can access with these buttons:

| Brings you to the options screen and the app settings. Here you can change the sound settings. This app will honor the global android sound setting, but you can turn in-app sounds on without changing global settings. | |

The Game

The game screen
Game screen layout and controls:
You can scroll the Buttons in the second row by moving left and right.Restart level button:
Resets the current level back to its starting position.
+10 / +1 / -1 / -10 buttons:
Select a specific level you want to play with these buttons. Note that certain buttons may be deactivated if they are not viable at this moment.
Message Area:
Here you can check information on the level and see messages from the game.
Game Area:
Here you play the game. The game area has a bigger upper part where the action takes place and a small lower part where you can see the unassigned drill kits (if any) left.
How to play:
Tap a drill base with a number greater than zero to select it, all legal spaces will be highlighted with a yellow border. Next all squares in the four directions up, down, left and right which can be drilled will be highlighted. Tap one of those squares or tap anywhere else on the game area to cancel your selection. If you tap a highlighted earth or diamond square it will be excavated using up one drill from the selected drill base. If you tap another highlighted base one drill of the original base will be transferred here. A base can only have up to six drills maximum at any time.To deploy a unassigned drill kit from the bottom of the play area tap to select it. Now all un-operational drill bases will be highlighted and you can tap the one you want these drills deployed to. Tapping somewhere else in the game area cancels your selection as usual. Note that un-operational bases can only accept unassigned drills, you can not transfer drills from other bases here. Once they are operational you can transfer drills from other bases normally.
